We recently shared the story of Staff Sergeant Matthew Mitchell, a U.S. Army hero who was awarded a Purple Heart for his selfless service. Staff Sergeant Mitchell had a long military career before suffering a traumatic brain injury while deployed in Iraq.

The dramatic transformation of the Mitchell home is stunning. It provides a calming environment where Staff Sergeant Mitchell, his wife Sarah, two-year-old son Luka, and fostered nephews Jae’nari and Tyre can kick back and relax.
