These shades are available in a variety of opacities, all which block UV rays and reduce heat transfer from the outdoors. Bali®’s sheer and light-filtering fabrics allow the most light into your space and the provide the least amount of privacy. Their room-darkening and blackout fabrics provide increased light blockage and privacy, making them ideal options for media rooms and bedrooms – or any place that invites the occasional nap! Some of their room-darkening and blackout fabric collections feature both white-to-street backing for a uniform streetside appearance. All opacities are available in a variety of solid fabric options. Bali®’s solid fabric options range from soothing neutrals to bolder colors, which are great for rooms with already bold decor and furniture.

This shade comes standard with a cordless lift. This lift system eliminates the hassle of cords and the possibility of cord entanglement and features a unique dual-speed braking system and tension control for maximum safety. However, Bali® has many lift upgrade options available:

• A continuous cord loop lift utilizes a powerful clutch to assist with lifting the shade without changing the length of the chain.
• The tethered wand lets you operate your shade with 3 buttons and is attached to your shade, so there’s no risk of losing it! This lift is available in black and white color options as well as a variety of lengths.
• The smart pull system lets you raise or lower your shade with a few simple tugs of a pull wand.
• The Z-Wave AutoView™ Motor Control allows you to control your shade from anywhere in your home. This exceptionally quiet motor has an optional Hub for Smart Home compatibility.
• The EasyTouch cordless lift, like the standard cordless lift, eliminates the hassle of cords and entanglement but also features a unique lift system that allows you to raise and lower your shade and place it exactly where you want it.
• The EasyTouch dual lift lets you raise and lower the shade via the hem bar or the cord loop.

• If you’d prefer your shade to unroll from the front instead of the back, specify a reverse roll.
• Lift option recommendations
•  For a more streamlined appearance and increased safety for kids and pets, keep the standard cordless lift.
• For wider, heavier shades, opt for a continuous cord loop.
• For a simple yet effective lift option, opt for a tethered wand.
• For hard-to-reach windows, upgrade to a smart pull system or the Z-Wave AutoView™ Motor Control
• For exact adjustments, upgrade to an EasyTouch cordless lift.
• For various lift options on one shade, upgrade to an EasyTouch dual lift.

Considerations:

• Shades on large windows may be “railroaded” to avoid seam lines. This involves rotating the fabric 90 degrees clockwise, allowing the shade to unroll horizontally to cover the window’s width. If one pattern is railroaded, any other shades in that room should be railroaded as well to maintain consistency.
• Light-filtering fabrics allow shadows and silhouettes to be seen from the outside. For total privacy, consider room-darkening or blackout fabrics.
• Inside-mounted roller shades will have an approximate 1” (cord-loop side) and 1/2” (other side) vertical light gap due to the manufacturing requirements. This is not a manufacturing error.
• Bali®’s Basics fabric collection is fire retardant and are not white to the street. Instead, they feature the same color on the front and the back of the shade.
•  Each plug-in transformer includes a 72” power cord and a 96” extension cord.
