We Recommend:

• Beaded chains are recommended for heavier or larger-scale shades.

• The Cordless spring tension roller lift option removes the risk of tangled cords.

• For the easiest operation, opt for remote control motorization. This option is ideal for homes with small children and pets or out-of-reach windows. Motorized shades are powered by AA batteries or a plug-in power cord.

• If your shade must pass in front of a door handle or other obstruction, we recommend a reverse roll. Switching to a reverse roll is free will have your fabric feed over the top rather than the back.

• Complete your look with a valance for the top of your shade

• Add Light Gap blockers to eliminate the light coming from the sides of your shades. Simply attach the blockers to your window using the sticky backing. Light blockers only work on inside-mounted, fully recessed shades.

Considerations:

• A reverse roll cannot be used in conjunction with a valance.

• Inside-mounted roller shades will have an approximate 1" vertical "light gap" between the fabric and window casing on the cord-loop side and up to a 5/8" light gap on the other. This is because the fabric must be cut narrower than the operating mechanisms at the top.

• Cordless lifts will include a pull tassel attached to the bottomrail.

This product can be made safer for places where children and pets may be present, with the selection of the Cordless or Motorized upgrade. All other versions of this product have cords that may be accessible, and are not recommended for windows where children or pets may be present.
