The Blinds.com Deluxe Blackout Decorative Fabric Roller Shade provides the most privacy and light blockage, making them perfect for day sleepers and media rooms. They greatly dim your room and block the sun’s glare.
Adding a fabric-wrapped cassette is a great way to complete your look. Square cassettes are available with white or aluminum hardware while semi-open cassettes include fabric-coordinated hardware. Keep in mind that a semi-open cassette will only hide the installation hardware, not the entire roller. Fabric-wrapped cornices cover the top of your shade and can be mounted either inside or outside the window.
The standard lift is the plastic? continuous cord loop ?chain, but we heavily recommend a spring assisted, heavy-duty beaded chain lift for larger shades. We recommend cordless or motorized lifts for hard-to-reach windows, or homes with children or pets.

If you prefer the shade fabric to feed over the top instead of the back, choose reverse roll at no extra charge. Reverse roll shades are recommended for shades that need to pass in front of obstructions, like a handle.
Add a valance to your shade for a completed look.
Pair your inside mount shades with light gap blockers or drapery to avoid light gaps on the side of your shades. Light gap blockers are a window frame add-on with a sticky backing for easy application.

Considerations:
- Inside-mounted roller shade fabrics must be cut narrower than the operating mechanisms at the top, resulting in an approximate 5/8” - 1” vertical “light gap” between the edge of the fabric and the window casing on each side.
